Situated on the Anglia Ruskin University's Rivermead campus in Chelmsford, the £8 million development for the Faculty of Health and Social Care (FHSC) is changing the way that health and social care professionals in Essex are educated.
Richardson & Peat was commissioned to undertake the internal fit out of the Healthcare Education Centre. This included the installment of approximately 300 softwood door frames and veneered doors within the five storey concrete frame structure. The project also involved the fitting of softwood architrave and skirtings all to hospital specifications.
Due to educational nature of the building, work was completed on a fast track basis to ensure the building was completed for the new intake of medical students.
